Repair Service Terms

Effective September 16, 2026

Appointments and diagnostics

An appointment reserves an intake/service time; it does not guarantee that diagnosis or repair will be completed during that appointment. Repair timing depends on diagnosis, parts availability, workload, and the customer's response to any estimate or questions.

Estimates and authorization

When an estimate is provided, work that requires customer approval will not be treated as approved until the customer accepts it through the available approval process or otherwise authorizes the work. Declining an estimate stops the proposed work, although diagnostic work already performed may still be reflected in the service record where applicable.

Device condition and data

Customers should disclose known damage, prior repairs, modifications, intermittent faults, and important accessories at intake. Back up important data before service whenever possible. Hardware diagnosis or repair can involve resets, storage replacement, firmware changes, or component failure, and we cannot guarantee preservation of data on a malfunctioning device.

Parts and repair outcomes

Some devices cannot be economically or technically repaired. If additional issues are discovered, we may pause work and request further authorization. Replacement parts may be new, used, refurbished, or donor parts as appropriate to the repair and availability; material substitutions should be reflected in the estimate or communicated before use when they materially change the approved work.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Customers can use the repair area of their account to reschedule or cancel eligible appointments where those controls are available. If the online option is unavailable, contact us as soon as possible.

Privacy

Repair records may include device identifiers, problem descriptions, estimates, work notes, appointment history, and customer contact information. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
